Створюємо Favicon на WordPress

Доброго дня!

Сьогодні я розповім Вам, як встановити іконку Favicon на свій сайт. Для тих, хто не знає, Favicon – це значок або іконка блогу (сайту) або окремої веб-сторінки, яку можна побачити в адресному рядку браузера, в журналі, в закладках, на вкладках і т. д. Взагалі раджу робити свої фавікончики, так як вони – відображення Вашої креативності та індивідуальності 🙂 .

Отже, установка Favicon на WordPress:

1. Як зробити фавікон?

Для початку потрібно підготувати якись малюнок. Можете скористатися Photoshop, можна просто знайти картинку в будь-яких джерелах або вибрати відповідний фавікон, наприклад, тут.

Зверніть увагу, що розмір зображення не важливий, так як далі ми будемо його зменшувати до потрібного за допомогою генераторів Favicon:

Я буду робити фавікон за допомогою сервісу favicon.ru. Заходжу і вибираю потрібне зображення, вказую «значок 48х48 для і тисну «Створити favicon.ico».

Далі нам пропонують завантажити фавікон, зробимо це.

Як завантажити та встановити Favicon на WordPress

Для початку давайте завантажимо скачаний раніше favicon.ico на наш сайт WordPress. Йдемо в адмінку і вибираємо «Медіафайли» => «Додати новий». Тиснемо кнопку «Виберіть файли» і вибираємо favicon.ico. Ось завантажений мною файл у бібліотеці. Тиснемо «Змінити». Для цього наводимо на файл і вибираємо «Змінити». На цій сторінці нам потрібна посилання на файл:

Скопіюємо її в буфер обміну і вставимо, наприклад, в Блокнот. Йдемо «Зовнішній вигляд» => «Редактор». Тут праворуч вибираємо файл «header.php». У файлі шукаємо тег <head>. І відразу після нього вставляємо такий код:

<link rel=”icon” href=”Посилання на файл” type=”image/x-icon” />
<link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”Посилання на файл” type=”image/x-icon” />

У ньому фразу «Посилання на файл» потрібно замінить посиланням на фавікон, яке Ви скопіювали раніше в Блокнот. Після цього вже готовий код потрібно вставити відразу після відкриваючого тега <head>. Тиснемо «Оновити». Ось і все! Фавікон встановлений!
